08/04/2012: Tarot of the Day

The Seven of Wands. I’ve been drawing this card a lot in the past couple weeks. It’s a card about taking a stand for what you believe in, especially when the opposition seems stronger than yourself. But I have a feeling it means something a little different today: Consider everybody that’s taking a stand, taking a side. We have an election coming up for our President, and in California there are many people taking all different sides on a variety of ‘Moral’ issues. Folks, if they’re issues in the first place, does that not indicate that maybe we are standing too strong? I think that today the Seven of Wands is in opposition, and it’s telling us that we’re in opposition with ourselves. If we want peace on the Earth, with Humanity, and harmony with Nature, we must flex; give a little, bend in the wind. The wands depicted here are Bamboo, they flex and allow things to just be; they grow around the stones and eventually the stones give a little too. So I feel that today we are called to RELAX! Do not take such a hard stand or fight hate with hate. To create the world of peace and harmony we want, we must be the peace and harmony we want.

08/04/2012: (Reading for someone; thanks for letting me post!) What should I do this fall in order to be successful at school and work?

            The Nine of Wands indicates that you are waiting. The choices and decisions are tough. There is a desire to move forward quickly, but moderate it! Stay balanced! Don’t judge yourself as being indecisive, love and accept yourself no matter what! It will give you courage. You are easily stretched too thin right now, and the time is coming in which you will need your strength of emotion, strength of mind, and strength of body; you will need strength of character. This is not to say do nothing, but be mild and meek with your self. All new growth is tender.

            You are still in the process of judging the situation and it weighs upon your mind. You are letting yourself fall where you may. Have you lost sight of the ultimate goal by attempting to find and meet the intermediate ones? Remember which activity serves the other. The process of weighing the outcomes is draining you, so you often force yourself to just stop. But be careful of not looking where you’re going.

            You can take the two and make them one; the process of thinking about school and work, and the letting go of it all. Set your goals for the short term but do not be attached to them. There are mystic forces at work which you have not seen.

            It appears that your ultimate goal has to do with material and emotional contentment and fulfillment, but you have not fully answered yourself as to what that actually means or feels like to you. You must do this before you can intermediate goals as you need to know where you are going before you ford your own road. A good meditation is to create the feeling of what your ultimate goal would feel like. Hold it and cherish it. Then you can begin to create the path to get there; you will receive the answers to your current question. The success at school and work is short term, and your ultimate goal is long term. Once you have a solid feel for what your long term contentment feels like, you will know what to do in the short term.

            In assistance to your success at school and work is Spirit. Be aware of it and what it does in your life; pay attention to the details. You have been given a gift of the Spirit; a gift of potential towards fulfillment of your desires, a gift of knowledge. Its message is to direct it wisely, with balanced judgment. This agreement between you and Spirit must also be honored by nurturing it. It is a light that burns from within and if you listen and care for it, it will help your mind attune to the knowledge and awareness needed to succeed. This is in your recent past.

            The Star in your near future indicates that nurturing this gift will be a great aid to your short and long term goals. It is an offer from Spirit for success in however you choose to direct it. Ensure that you direct what you truly want and it shall be yours. The Star also indicates that the successes offered are spiritual in nature. So I see that the original question of material success requires a spiritual answer.

            You know that you are making great changes within yourself, letting go of many things you would have normally fought for that you no longer have a need for. Whether this action is conscious or not, it would indicate that you are in tune with the movements of the Earth Spirit. You may be in tune, but remember to listen, and listen often! Listening to Spirit will give you guidance, peace, and rest from weariness. Other people around you see this too, but they see it as an effort on your part to sacrifice in order to get what you want and need in life. Both perspectives have truth in them.

            Your hopes and fears are represented by The Moon. This indicates to me that you may fear that your actions are baseless, unreal, or have no real value; while you hope that actually do. When this fear arises, recall that you are the artist of your life, and that just because others may not see the value, when you are making balanced decisions to achieve your goals (which you have based on your balanced emotions, physical, mental, and spiritual selves), you can do no wrong.

            The outcome, Six of Wands, shows a definite victory for your future, but beware as it is not the end. There will still be many more steps to take to lead you to your ultimate goal. Take them in stride, and you will create the world you desire.

            There are many forces affecting you at the moment. Only allow the forces you want to affect you. The decisions you are currently faced with can only be answered by prayer and meditation in order to balance your outer world with your inner world. This balance will help you find the success in school and work that you desire. Remember that you are currently working towards a greater goal, and do not settle for the small victories that pop up along the way. Be grateful for them and the learning opportunities they may bring, but never loose sight of your ultimate goal.

08/01/2012 A Message From the Earth:

            This is a message from our Earth Mother to those who would listen. Humanity is reaching a critical point in its evolution where we can no longer take so much for granted. We have been running in a direction we thought was forward, with all the speed and strength we could muster. But we are finding on a larger and larger scale, that we are moving out of balance with ourselves and the world at large. Our cunning has turned into deceit and pain against each other; against ourselves. We are finding that this does not make us happy. We are finding that the comforts we grew up with are illusory, not real, and not genuine. We are beginning to understand that those things cannot bring us security and happiness without any doubts. The warning here is for those of us who do not want to let go of our illusions; you injure yourself and you stagnate. You cease to grow and to learn, when you will not admit that you are, or even could be, incorrect. This is a call to follow the heart in self-love and acceptance. Admit to ourselves when we feel unhappy and make changes to get there.

            The recent past shows us that humanity has not been taking part in its own evolution. We have cast countless seeds to the wind and we expect great crops in return; without thought or heed to where those seeds are sown, who will care for them, and whether or not they are even compatible. This is key to us moving forward! Take care of what you put out into the world. Have a plan. Do not sow seeds of anger, jealousy, and fear, but sow seeds of love so that you may receive love in return. And do not sow them together, for the fear can choke out the love. We are now reaping what we have sown for generations; if you don’t like it, tear out the old, and replace it with what your heart leads you to.

            In our near future, we have an opportunity to change. Our Earth mother is changing, and she invites us to change with her; to purposefully sow the seeds of love and acceptance to the rest of humankind, and all other beings on the Earth. And to tend to those seeds as they grow. This seems to be a monumental task, and it can take years of tending the Earth to remove all the fear and doubt, and replace it with hope and love, but we know in our hearts, if we dare to listen, that this is the way we were intended to live; and we have the power to intend ourselves into that state of living.

            What we fear will happen is the end of the world. And so it shall be. But with every end, there is a new beginning. We have tricked ourselves into believing fear; for many of us, it is all we know. Since we do not know how to live in love for even ourselves, we cannot, it seems, comprehend loving all beings. This lack of comprehension and unknown fate brings even more fear, and since it is what we are comfortable with, many choose to stay. If you listen to your heart, however, you will perceive beyond what your normal senses could ever tell you, what love is and how it feels. Dare to listen! Dare to be touched by divine love! You are worthy! God, Goddess, All that Is cares not for the morals of society, Divinity is what created you, and you are part of the Divine. You, too, can shed the fear of the end, and rejoice in the beginning.

            We view ourselves as lacking and dissociated from who we really are. And ironically, all we have to do to begin to reverse that process is to view ourselves as a piece of the whole; as we truly are.

            Other beings perceive us as children; humanity has not learned to stand on its own yet. But we are growing, and they will help us if we dare to love, to respect our brothers and sisters of the Earth.

            The hope of the Earth for humanity is that we will leave behind our attachments based in fear. Leave the illusion of our perceived security in wealth. Dive down deep into our own hearts and subconscious, experience the truths of ourselves, and bring it forward into the dream of life, our everyday life. Dare to peer into your own soul and express what you find there; become who you truly are.

            Our Earth Mother bears us up willingly. Yet she can only take so much until she has nothing left to give. The outcome is in our hands and it is only our choice. We must choose to continue in fear and doubt, or to become our true selves in light and love. This does not mean to always be ‘peachy,’ but to express the love we feel inside if we dare to look deep enough. If we choose to stagnate in our fears and doubt, our world will collapse beneath us, and we will fall into a hell we created for ourselves. When we choose to love ourselves and others, we become Light, we become who we are; and we create Heaven on Earth.
